Notice on how for 35 (thirty-five : from 1978 to 2013) years the official Vatican foreign policy was the typical double standard of the secret societies, the esuits' order above all. With the right hand the domestic right wing "Christian" conservative party (Republican) was endorsed (anti-abortion etc.) allowing it to win several electoral competitions in order that, once in power, it would be able to fulfill an anti-Islamic foreign agenda (wars in Islamic countries, unconditional support to Zombisrael, etc.).
At the same time, with the left hand, the kingdoms of Wojtyla and Ratzinger openly and well visibly distanced themselves from those anti-Islamic wars, but not after having continually endorsed the Republican party (George Bush Sr. & jr. and their inspirer mentor R. Reagan) in order to avoid an electoral defeat and together with it also a changing of the foreign policy towards a less warmongering government of the international affaires.
To summarize: the Vatican supported the aggressive foreign policy of the US through the support of the Republican party which implemented them. The support was realized by the support to the common Christian values shared by Catholicism and the most important core of the conservative majority voting Republican : abortion, gay marriage and bioethic of the right wing Christianity. In order to not appear as the beneficiary of the "eternal wars" oriented foreign politic of the Republican party which created havoc and moreover extreme hatred against the U.S. white Christian majority, an open and world-wide broadcasted dissent against the wars of Bush was continually expressed by the popes but not without a continual recalling to the common fundamental values shared by the Catholic church and the anti-Catholic US Christianity as a way to assure the Vatican support for a conservative party in the White House. The psychodrama is always centered on the script "difficult decisions taken under the threat of an imminent danger", i.e. the danger of the LGBTQs, abortions etc. as alibi to allow the eternal warfare against the Islamic world.
