He knows the Scripture, line by line. Wasn't he the guy who suggested the alteration of the word of God to Origen, Westcott & Hort, Nestlè, Aland & C. ? Therefore the Father of lies knows that in the Bible there's a chapter, 2 Peter 2, which deals with his pastors.

I should have quoted more verses but for the sake of brevity and simplicity I restrain on these eight verses. I differentiate them also as you see it.

To begin with a very basic truth, the support of the evangelical world to Christian nationalist leaders helps to bring a lot of money in their treasury rooms. Covetousness is a the core of the alternative-right and the Christian support of it renders justice to verse 3 :  the member of the church is a coin (merchandise) to spend for a political goal which, once achieved, will bring more money in the church and the nation.

Nationalist Christians are the kingdom-builders, the ones who wants to build materially the kingdom of God with their hands in frontal opposition to the word of God who established the kingdom of God be a spiritual kingdom, not a material one. Kingdom-builders are full heretic. They apply the Old Testament law to suffucate the spirit of the New Testament. They invent an anti-biblical concept, the "Christian nation" with which they ape, imitate the Kingdom of Israel with all its physical wars to make if perfect at the eyes of God.

They forget that in Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2 those kings and powers to which a Christian was to submit, were exclusively heathen powers, which were imposing pagan religion. The submission was not to the pagan religion but to the laws protecting the most elementary and universal rights of men, enjoyable by every religious category of this world, like for example the right to be protected from assassins and robbers.Christian nationalists take those verses and magically transform them (under the Devil's suggestion) in justification for theocratic Catholic or Baptist regimes.

We started to see that verses 1 and two could be applied very much to the preachers and members of Christo-Fascist churches. The Devil had to find a way to avoid that. For this reason he uses his LGBTQs, create some churches, organizations and rallies with them, as a form of distraction : to smuggle the most important heresy (the creation of a world fake Christian physical kingdom preparing the way of the Antichrist's power) under the shadow of another kind of heresy, which purposely harass and disturb the private life of Christians who, under such a torment, will very easily sacrifice any other sound doctrine ("the kingdom of God cometh with no observation.... it is within you") just in order to see "our kids protected from sodomite teachers". 

We have already appreciated such Hegelian Dialectic, but here we can observe some interesting details of it, with the biblical lenses using Scripture with Scripture. And, as the Devil loves to fight fire with fire, he loves to fight application with application (of Bible verses). In this case he had to change the application of verse 1 and 2 using, as anvil and hammer, the verses 6, 7 and 8.  

Verses 7-8 represents in negative comparison that pharisaical nationalistic Christian self-righteousness "...we are not like them..." summoned by the Pharisee who was praising himself in God's temple in Luke 18:9-14.

But before to bend them, the Christian world had to be heated to the point of incandescence. If you use LGBTQ as comburent and churches as combustibles, you can generate a lot of incandescent pride in a Christian soul, because there are few things that make a Christian upset than to see other churches competing with his one but on a completely opposite doctrinal stance. So if you want to apply Romans 13:1 and 1 Peter 2:13-14 you have to tell it entirely and not only what is comfortable for your double standard moral. Trump has been appointed by God no more or less than He appointed the pharaoh of the Exodus or Nero of Rome.

This is a typical pharisaical little sermon. Like the Pharisees of Jesus times, the today's Christian pharisees must find some very gross sins in order to compare themselves with the ones performing openly such sins and therefore to appear "righteous", exactly like those old Pharisees were lapidating adulterous women, doing alms and praying in front of the masses etc., in order to hide with self-righteousness the tons of untold, secret sins.

Jesus hated these Pharisees to the point that He considered them worse than the LGBTQs of His times. Where ? Those were "terror for the evildoers", this one is "established by righteousness". Were Nero, Herod, Hitler, Trump, Stalin "established by righteousness" ? ? ? ....a President who is a serial abuser of women and a pedophile ? ?  ..... Therefore Proverbs 16:12 can be applied to a ruler of the heathen when he affirms to believe in the living God of the Bible and to be a Christian. 

For this reason the Devil has to keep Proverbs 16:12 away from Trump, Meloni, Putin, Orban, etc.
