As pertain Italy I m no worried about the disasters. Take in consideration the "invasion of aliens" from Africa & Islamic countries. Does that happen without God's consent ? No i m no changed idea and now I m not a Predesti-nut. Bad things are allowed by God just TO TEST THE FREE WILL ("heart & reins", see Jer 17:10).
I believe this is God's anger. Italians loved the easy way of the flesh : money & wealth FIRST, then enjoyment of life as something owed to them as unalienable right, easy religionism where Catholicism, Oriental philosophies, revolutionary ideologies satisfying existential needs with grotesque political banalities were and are the idols of a nation. Soon the enjoyment of the national identity added to the scene and it is where things started to fall. As I have previously mentioned, nationalism is a Devil's product. Roughly and briefly recapped, it the idolatry of the nation (idolatry : worship of a material/spiritual thing believed to be able to save you) and the boasting of a punishment (nations have been devised by God to punish mankind, no pride in them).

Here I feel the urgent need to correct some statement made by some politicians about the Public Safety Decree. They fear that such a decree could lead to a coupe. I believe this is a wrong take. I believe that this decree is aimed to reache the same purpose of a coupe, WITHOUT having the need of a coupe.

The cunning system of deceptions of the Devil, in a way or another, points to make you believe that you can make continually a deal with God, paying your debts with "good works". Of course this is false, because God declared the good works "out-of-circulation currency" :

The Public Safety Decree seems that will work only in denial of the word(s) of God. The legal use of subersive organizations by the state in order to suppress and liquidate dissention, political or religious one (like the one you are reading now - see Acts 5:29) needs of the Devil's machine of the "good works doctrine salvation". We'll see therefore a lot of "very succesful operations" (WORKS) in to stop and block evil organizations, criminal, political, religious. The Public Safety Decree must produce a lot of good results in disbanding very dangerous entities, therefore to JUSTIFY itself in the eyes of a nation imbued culturally with the Catholic doctrine of salvation.
As Catholicism, a direct blossom of the heathen philosophy, sees as fully legitimate in God's eyes the bargaining of good works as repayment for bad works, the operative Public Safety Decree will not work differently, and will surely produce a lot of "good works" in order to legitimate (bargain) the bad works of suppression and persecution of political, ideological, and especially, as we approach the End Times, biblical works of exposition of the Whore, her incoming bridegroom from Hell, and especially their human cohorts working wickedness through worldly powers and principalities that God ordered to righteousness.
If I was a bit mysterious, I'll explain that in other words. The price to declare legal the subversive and terrorist activity of the state through its services ("bad works"), is paid, in the same decree legalizing subversion by the agencies of the government, with tons of "good works" improving the daily safety of the common citizen (or at least the sensation to be more safe, being all a question of political marketing).
We are living interesting times and are seeing in the Western world already present the fundaments of that power that will struggle to eradicate the flock of God from earth just before the Rapture. Article 31 of the Security Bill extends the scope of "excusable conduct" for intelligence agencies to include commanding terrorist groups. It forces public administrations to become espionage centers.
The government majority is pushing to increase the powers of the secret services, but democratic guarantees risk being left behind. Article 31 of the Security Bill, currently under consideration by the Senate, introduces an unprecedented expansion of "excusable conduct" for intelligence workers—that is, actions that would be criminal for an ordinary citizen, but become legal for those working in the intelligence services. This includes recruiting, organizing subversive groups, possessing explosive materials, or acting for terrorist purposes. According to Marco Pellegrini, a Five Star Movement MP and member of COPASIR (the Parliamentary Committee for the Security of the Republic, which oversees the activities of the intelligence services), this is truly "abnormal." Not only will infiltration of criminal organizations be permitted—which is already possible—but the new text even allows for the leadership of terrorist groups, including international ones, or associations with subversive purposes. If the bill is approved, activities such as the manufacture of explosives will also be legal, provided they are authorized by the Prime Minister and carried out for institutional purposes.
"This dangerous strengthening of the intelligence services," Pellegrini emphasized to L'Espresso, "is taking place without a corresponding strengthening of Parliament's oversight powers, through the COPASIR. It's clear that the asymmetry we're discussing carries with it the concrete risk of weakening parliamentary oversight of the secret services, to the advantage of the Prime Minister's office, under which they operate." The MP has, in fact, presented a series of amendments aimed at strengthening the Committee's role, but—he emphasizes—"they were all rejected by the current majority."
The problem, according to Pellegrini, is twofold. On the one hand, it concerns the method. "It is unacceptable that this right-wing coalition should change, by majority vote, the balance of power between the Prime Minister, the Intelligence Services, and Parliament, thereby altering the very core and meaning of Law No. 124 of 2007, a law that, I want to emphasize, was approved by a bipartisan consensus." On the other hand, there is merit: the reform dangerously expands the boundaries of intelligence activities, thus leaving democratic guarantees uncovered. "The entire bill exudes a clear and dangerous desire to curb the emergence of any potential—and, in my opinion, probable—dissent against the government and its policies," says the MP.
This is not the first time the government has controversially intervened in intelligence activities. "Already at the end of 2022," Pellegrini explains, "he had modified another extremely sensitive aspect, namely the issue of preventive wiretapping by the intelligence services, inserting this provision into the 2023 Budget Law, which was also approved by a majority vote alone." Thus, the deadline for filing wiretaps was extended from the previous 5-10 days to 30 days.
The move is even more criticized in a country like Italy, "which has seen," Pellegrini recalls, "the heavy involvement of top intelligence officials in the massacres that marked the long trail of bloodshed during the Years of Lead and in various other subversive activities." In short, according to the MP, it is "utter madness."
The only form of control appears to be tied to state secrecy, which, despite the broader exemption, cannot cover up documents or facts related to terrorism or constitutional subversion. Yet, with bill no. 1236, intelligence officers will be able to be protected in proceedings and trials through the use of cover identities, both during testimony and in court documents.

"Time and the government's behavior in the coming months will tell whether these absurd legislative changes are the product of ignorance, the arrogance of power, authoritarian legacies and sympathies, or whether they stem from a specific strategic plan."

"It's a rather ambiguous article," Noury states. "It would certainly be strange if it were an article in favor of human rights." In Parliament, Pellegrini dubbed the measure the "anti-Gandhi bill": "If he were alive and Italian, this government would have jailed him too," the MP quipped. "The hope is that the security bill will be thoroughly revised and that Article 31 will be completely removed."
