The submission was not to the pagan religion but to the laws protecting the most elementary and universal rights of men, enjoyable by every religious category of this world, like for example the right to be protected from assassins and robbers.Christian nationalists take those verses and magically transform them (under the Devil's suggestion) in justification for theocratic Catholic or Baptist regimes.

We started to see that verses 1 and two could be applied very much to the preachers and members of Christo-Fascist churches. The Devil had to find a way to avoid that. For this reason he uses his LGBTQs, create some churches, organizations and rallies with them, as a form of distraction : to smuggle the most important heresy (the creation of a world fake Christian physical kingdom preparing the way of the Antichrist's power) under the shadow of another kind of heresy, which purposely harass and disturb the private life of Christians who, under such a torment, will very easily sacrifice any other sound doctrine ("the kingdom of God cometh with no observation.... it is within you") just in order to see "our kids protected from sodomite teachers". 

We have already appreciated such Hegelian Dialectic, but here we can observe some interesting details of it, with the biblical lenses using Scripture with Scripture. And, as the Devil loves to fight fire with fire, he loves to fight application with application (of Bible verses). In this case he had to change the application of verse 1 and 2 using, as anvil and hammer, the verses 6, 7 and 8.  

Verses 6-8 represents in negative comparison that pharisaical nationalistic Christian self-righteousness "...we are not like them..." summoned by the Pharisee who was praising himself in God's temple in Luke 18:9-14. Especially Lot, an incestuous drunkard, is used to make "just" a fornicator pedophile POTUS, making Trump a "type of Lot". Et voilà !, wickedness in high places is justified in the name of the ....Gospel ! And every nationalist, conservative Christian is happy to be assured "by Scripture" that all those criminal, molester, drunkards in the government are justified exactly like Lot.

But before to bend them, the Christian world had to be heated to the point of incandescence. If you use LGBTQ as comburent and churches as combustibles, you can generate a lot of incandescent pride in a Christian soul, because there are few things that make a Christian upset than to see other churches competing with his one but on a completely opposite doctrinal stance. Donald Trump's choice as the next United States defence secretary has called for the building of a third Jewish temple on the site of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

Pete Hegseth, a former TV show host, was picked by the incoming US President Trump for the role following his election victory earlier this month.

Hegseth has previously touted his avowedly pro-Israel credentials, which derive in part from his fundamentalist Christian beliefs.

Speaking at an event in Jerusalem in 2018 he said there was "no reason why the miracle of re-establishing the temple on the Temple Mount isn’t possible", using the Israeli name for the raised plateau in occupied East Jerusalem where Al-Aqsa Mosque stands.

"I don't how it would happen, you don't know how it would happen, but I know that it could happen - and a step in that process is the recognition that facts and activities on the ground truly matter," he said at the event, which took place at Jerusalem's King David Hotel.

He also told attendees that Israel should take advantage of Trump being in office to do what they needed to do in the region, because there were "true believers" in Washington who would back them.
